Cherish?

Making a decision in life is never easy. .
Sometimes when u think too long about it, u might just overthink it. .
Sometimes when u think too little about it, it might have been a rash decision. .
So, how would we know that the decisions we make are the right ones?

Personally, I'm a really bad decision maker. .
I'm really indecisive and I think I'm an emotional decision maker. .
It's always the feelings that influence my decision. .
Also, it's the people. .
Sometimes I decide such to make others happy. .
However, it really depends what sort of decision it is. .
If it's about big stuff like a group assignment or such, I become rather dominating and I suddennly can make decisions. .

But if it's about my life, then. . there's a huge problem. .
In the past, I've made many wrong decisions. .
Sometimes once the decision is made, it's too late to turn back. .
We always wonder where the road we didn't choose will lead us to. .

I've made rather big decisions. .
But. . I can't confirm whether it's been highly influenced or not. .
Sometimes I wish u'll be more sensitive. .
I just feel that sometimes when ppl get what they want, they forget how hard they've worked to get it and just slack off at their achievement. .
Slowly, a gap is formed. . And if the person doesn't realize it sooner, the gap will slowly and slowly grow wider. .
Their achievement will just sit in pain. Whether material items or just anything. .

Why do people forget what they promised themselves to do. .
Why do people treat something they finally get, worse ??
Like a puppy, first, they smother the puppy with love and spend hours with it.
Months later, u'll see the puppy running around, playing alone in the garden while the owner carries on with his or her life. .

Why can't people see that once they get something they've worked so hard for, they shouldn't be overjoyed til' they forget the importance and existence of it. .

People get thrilled by desires. .
But the thrill slowly wears off after they feel they've made an achivement to obtain the desired. .
There is no break in life and nothing lasts forever. .


One day we might all just wake up and realize the people and things we've been taking for granted. .
Or maybe just realize the "wrong things" we've done that we've always thought was right. .
